“Dr. Ravina came to our home to help with saying goodbye to our beloved Lab. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience given the circumstance. She was compassionate and caring beyond my expectations.”

“I welcomed Dr. Gabrielle Ravina to our Ben Lomond property on Friday, July 15, 2022 for the euthanizing of a friend’s beloved pet.

She was prompt and completely prepared. No fumbling around. Patient with people in distress.

She was a delightful balance of personable and professional. The professional side answered questions clearly and succinctly, performing her duties flawlessly. The personable side expressed deep kindness to the family members, and compassionate respect for the beloved animal itself.

If I was to write a script depicting optimum service for both the family and the pet, it would unfold exactly as I observed, with Dr. Ravina playing the key role. “

“I wanted to write you to tell you how truly grateful we are for your help transitioning our dog to her next stage, whatever that might be. You made the day that we feared safe, authentic, and meaningful, and we will forever be grateful for that. We feel as if we had the chance to say “goodbye” to our girl in a way that was right for her. Thank you for helping us make her last day a good day surrounded by love, as it should be. Your job is not easy at all, but it is so necessary and a true gift. Somehow you managed to be both present and invisible, if that makes sense, which allowed us to be “alone” with our sweet Maya for one final morning.”

“At a time when a family is about to lose a friend, companion, and loved one, how do you begin to express a huge, well deserved ‘Thank You for All Given Unconditionally’ that our family member, the family dog Sophie, provided time and time again? We chose to keep Sophie at her home, calm, surrounded with love, as she had given us. Dr. Ravina came to our home and aid, to support all of us continuing the love, kindness, compassion, care and respect Sophie deserved during her transition. My strongest endorsement in support of Dr. Ravina. Thank You Gabby”

“We are so grateful we were able to say goodbye to our sweet dog in the comfort of our home, on his favorite couch perch, with all of us surrounding him with love. Dr. Ravina’s kindness, calmness, and compassion made a very hard thing so much easier. Being able to keep in touch with her in the days leading up to and occasional text message put me at ease that we were making the right decision. There are always ups and downs and doubts. I will forever be grateful for her kindness in helping our beloved family member pass over the rainbow bridge with peace and dignity.”

“My 19 year old kitty hated to go to the vet. When she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, I knew I did not want her to die naturally in terrible pain, nor did I want her last moments to be filled with terror at the vet’s office. Dr. Ravina’s at home hospice service provided my husband and I with an option that ensured that Snickers’ last weeks were as comfortable as possible. Gabby was kind and helpful, and she was supportive of our decisions while also providing insight into how other pet parents made similar decisions. She was also extremely flexible, even when we requested to change an appointment at 10pm the evening prior. Being able to euthanize Snickers at home was important not only for my kitty’s experience, but my experience as well. During the process, Gabby was calm and respectful, she explained everything and did not rush us. Being at home helped to minimize my stress and while I miss my kitty terribly, I know that this was the right decision. I highly recommend Peaceful Paws to anyone with a terminally ill pet.”
